  • Overview:

Margaret and Jeff mark their twenty-fifth anniversary with a once in a lifetime trip to New Zealand. Once a vivacious and outgoing girl, Margaret had become withdrawn, reluctant to jeopardize a marriage marred by jealousy and mistrust.

David Banville had enjoyed a blockbuster movie career in his youth, and is now the lead actor in a successful television crime drama. He's taking this trip alone. His young second wife had voluntarily stayed behind, a habit that was becoming more frequent. In spite of his efforts, he feels that Trudy is slipping away.

The aircraft encounters a storm and crashes on an island, leaving three battered survivors: Margaret, David, and Mitch, a flashy young car salesman. When Margaret spurns Mitch's advances, his annoyance quickly escalates to rage, resulting in his downfall.

As they meet the challenges of survival, Margaret and David discover a deep attraction for each other. Is Margaret's reawakened passion for David real, or a result of the allure of the island?

Once rescued, they attempt to return to their former lives, but their passion is one that cannot be denied.
